Since the iPhone 4 was first released last year, the iPhone plans have been reduced in price, making the iPhone 4 more accessible to those who are on a budget. iPhone plans typically include a large amount of data so that you can take advantage of iPhone applications, surf the web and use social networking sites as often as you need to.

Virgin mobile

Virgin Mobile’s Fair Go plans will suit iPhone users because they come with a hefty amount of data to use each month.

Call rates are a little higher than most other providers at 99c per minute – however Virgin mobile offers large amounts of credit to make up for it. Texts are 28c each, voicemail is free to deposit and to retrieve within OZ. Users should be very careful not to exceed their data limits because extra data is charged at 0.2c/KB (that’s $200 per MB!) Virgin mobile uses the Optus network to provide coverage, which offers 97% coverage across the Australian population.

Fair Go $39 $300 credit + 500MB of data
Fair Go $49 $400 credit + 2GB of data
Fair Go $59 $700 credit + 3GB of data

The plans are on a 24-month contract, but Virgin mobile offers a 16GB or 32GB iPhone as part of the deal. Virgin mobile offers the 16GB and 32GB in either black or white.

Fair Go $39: 16GB (for an extra $10 each month), 32GB (for an extra $20 each month).
Fair Go $49: 16GB (for an extra $8 each month), 32GB (for an extra $18 each month).
Fair Go $59: 16GB (for an extra $5 each month), 32GB (for an extra $15 each month).

We’ve included some of their cheapest plans below. The plans included below are on a 24-month contract, however Vodafone also offers iPhones on 12-month contracts, but be prepared to pay a large mobile repayment option to pay off the iPhone in just 12 months.
