Touted as "bringing together the very best of Nokia's handset design and services with the latest Windows Phone software" (Nokia Australia managing director Chris Carr), the Nokia Lumia 800 is a beautifully designed smartphone sure to please. The Lumia 800's fluid and simplistic interface is instinctive to use, and its 8-megapixel camera has been praised for its quality.

The greatest strength of the Lumia 800 is undoubtedly, however, the Windows Phone 7.5 OS. Though hardly the only smartphone on the Australian market using Windows Phone, it has been designed specifically for the OS and its clarity and simplicity is superb. For those looking for an alternative to Apple's sometimes cluttered pages of apps, the Nokia Lumia 800 will be a wonder.
