The Sony Ericsson W902 heralds a new era for this telecommunication giant. The Walkman series of phones have always drawn attention for their music features, but with the W902, new camera capabilities have stepped out of the shadows.

Looking a little like a new generation iPod Nano with its slim design and matt, curved casing, the Sony Ericsson W902 look will be pleasing to almost everyone. The back of the handset is coated with rubber to minimise fingerprint production and help with grip. The keypad is small but easy to use, and the navigation and selection keys make up three neat circles in the centre of the handset. Dedicated camera and music keys line one edge. The music keys are transparent, while the camera shutter and zoom buttons are coloured orange, so there is no confusion. There are also additional music controllers on the base of the 2.2 inch LCD display.
