The Nokia 7210 Supernova is a wafer thin, feather light candy bar handset that is perfect if all you want your mobile phone to do is be a mobile phone. 

If you don’t want a mobile with all the added bells and whistles, but you still want something that will feel good in your hand and look good in your pocket, then the Nokia 7210 Supernova is for you. Weighing in at only 70 grams and measuring only 10.5mm thick, you might accidently eat this cute little Nokia up thinking it was an after dinner biscuit.

The colour scheme of the 7210 Supernova can be customised using interchangeable covers, ranging from a metallic grey to electric pink. The keypad is very flat and provides good tactility, although not the best on the market. The dedicated camera or volume buttons that regularly feature on the side of other mobiles are absent on the 7210 Supernova. Some people might find this strange, but others will enjoy the pure simplicity of using only the key pad and navigation keys.

The display screen is a practical 2 inches and shows a clear, colourful picture. Nokia's Series 40 operating system and dependable user interface produce a good quality user experience, with no lags and straightforward menus.

Despite being marketed as a compact, back to basics phone, Nokia couldn't resist slipping a few extra features into the 7210 Supernova.  There is a 2 megapixel camera that takes satisfactory shots, although it does not have a flash for capturing the moment at night. The 7210 Supernova is also WAP and Java compatible, enabling you to install and play Java games and other applications as well as surf the web. The in-built music player supports a range of file formats and Nokia have tacked on a microSD card slot for increasing storage from the internal 30MB by up to 2GB.
