On Monday night Vodafone announced they would soon be offering the Google Nexus S following an exclusive deal with Samsung. The handset, which features “Gingerbread,” the latest version of the Android platform, includes a four inch touchscreen and access to 100,000+ Android Market Apps.

The Google Nexus S comes preinstalled with the latest Android operating system, “Gingerbread.” The deliciously titled new operating system features improved multi-tasking, Wi-Fi Hotspot (up to six additional devices can join your network) and a Near Field Communications Chip (NFC) for receiving information from compatible chips in other devices.
The 5-megapixel camera allows for HD video recording, and the phone also has a front-facing video call camera. The device has a 16GB internal memory, and USB and Bluetooth connectivity. The phone features all the usual Google stuff, including Search, Talk, Maps, Gmail and YouTube.
The Google Nexus S carries Samsung’s sleek design with a large 480 x 800 pixel touchscreen with an anti-fingerprint display coating.
