The BlackBerry Curve 8520 smartphone is a relatively inexpensive, easy-to-use handset designed to make your mobile phone experience simple.

The BlackBerry Curve 8520 smartphone is a relatively inexpensive, easy-to-use handset designed to make your mobile phone experience simple. It's thin, light and the smallest of the BlackBerry Curve collection.

With a stylish look and comfortable feel, the BlackBerry Curve 8520 has an excellent BlackBerry QWERTY keyboard, plus push email for super-fast sending of messages.

A new feature to all BlackBerry mobile phones is the trackpad navigation system, which works just like an inbuilt mouse for a laptop computer. You can easily scroll through your menus and web pages just by running your finger across the pad and then clicking on any applications or sites you want to open.

This BlackBerry is designed with social networking in mind. Facebook™, Twitter™, MySpace™ and Windows Live Messenger™ can all be accessed instantaneously. In your phone contacts section you can link a friend’s Facebook profile to their name, and then download recently posted photos or videos right onto the phone.

This smartphone is all about great usability for internet and email. You can surf the net, download content and update your networking profiles all while standing at the train station. Having said that, the BlackBerry Curve 8250 is also quite good for music.

With specialised media keys, you can skip, pause and repeat songs, all while your BlackBerry is still in your pocket. There’s also a 3.5mm headphone jack and the ability to add up to 16 GB of memory via a microSD memory card. This latter addition will ensure you have enough room to load up lots of songs, games, applications and videos.

The BlackBerry Curve 8250 smartphone comes with a 2 Megapixel camera for taking both photos and video clips. The BlackBerry Easy Media Sharing™ service makes it easy to upload photos straight onto your Facebook, MySpace and Flickr™ accounts.

Previously, BlackBerry smartphones were seen as the best option for business users. However, with all of these new features on the Curve 8250’s handset, you can have the best of both worlds. Connecting with your family, friends and colleagues is now as simple as accessing the internet, or going through your day-to-day planner. You can also go to BlackBerry App World™ to add hundreds of extra applications to further make the phone suit your individual needs.
